The case was heard in Judicial Magistrate Munawwar Hussain’s court. The prosecution department produced a charge-sheet accusing Imran and six personnel of police of assaulting the bakery employee.
The prosecution department said that the charges had been proved according to the CCTV footage obtained and aired by TV channels.
The court summoned Imran and the complainant on November 30, when indictment charges will be read out to the chief minister’s son-in-law and then it will be up to him to defend or accept them.
On October 7, a woman came to the shop and asked for a cake; however, the shop was closed for cleaning. The employees asked her to come later when the shop would be open. Two men, who appeared to be bodyguards of the woman, misbehaved with an employee named Irfan and left with warnings of dire consequences.
On the same day, the guards visited the bakery along with another man, identified the worker and escorted him outside the shop. Around six to seven Elite Force officials, who were present outside the bakery, started beating up Irfan and threatened him further.

Anyone who will vote for these replusive, medieval barbarians in the next election will be personally responsible for any further decay of our nation!
Where is CH. Allah Dad.
Take heed people of Pakistan floods, earthquakes, natural disasters overtake mankind when the people of that basti have become heedless and the rulers and law makers have become mini firouns.
Here in starts to unfold the Asli Drama – Elite Justice is delivered exactly as such – confuse the actual person, charge him under softer charges and make him walk right after the media circus disappears a. This shameful incident took place about 10 days ago, where were the police and Khadim-e-Ala?b. The case was only registered once the CCTV footage air on media, although Shahbaz Sharif was aware of this incident.c. For 7 days CM Punjab and his family tried to pressurize the victim and therefore the bakery remain closed for last 8 days.d. The victim tried to register an FIR but a ‘High Police official’ telephoned the SHO and ordered that the FIR may not be registered without his permission. It is understood that this police officer was instructed by CM Punjab.e. The victim, in his application, had mentioned violence, beating and attempt of kidnapping which is non-bailable offense and comes under article 365. However upon instructions of CM Punjab, the police remove the word ‘kidnapping’ from the FIR without the consent of the applicant and converted the case to fall under article 506, 149 and 150 which includes a minor offense – quarrel and warning to shopkeeper.f. The case was also against an ‘unknown person’.
@HH: The man is not sacrificing, he is being sacrificed and that is not for a woman, it's for perpetuating rule of criminals, you get my point?
@Born Political...not a serious offence...??? an innocent poor guy was publicly insulted...stripped off of his basic rights by the same people who are sworn to protect us and you are saying not a serous offence....To me this is the most serious offence..more than even shooting of Malala because this shows the thinking pattern and behaviour of our ruling class....things like this if you see on a larger scale are the root cause of every single issue of our society...be it electricity...economy...security...social welfare...justice...unemployment....every where there is someone protecting their own interest and that of their family.....
And by the way the headline says CM's son in law...still its important for us to know who the lady was...was it Ali Imran's wife..sister...mother...cousin...girlfriend...maid..friend with benefits...office worker...Just by saying Son in law of the CM tells us nothing...
I am addressing to the persons which are very overwhelmingly demanding to drag the lady involved in the incident. I am not endorsing the torture and beating happened to that bakery guy. We are living in a world where tolerance is a dying concept in today's society. What would be your immediate reaction as an elder brother, father and even as a husband when your lady comes to you and say someone in the market has misbehaved with her? Regardless of the fact, naturally & traditionally one will defiantly rush to that person and after a brief kick boxing and shower of abuses (sometimes it ends up even killing any of them as well) one will ask, OYE what you have done? And that is the reaction we have been witnessing trough ages in 99% cases of these type, regardless of its validity. Now, would you guys like to produce your sister or wife, or you will prefer to do the same as Imran is doing? I have seen that video many times, and according to my observation that bakery guy has definitely used some provocative and insulting language with the lady that makes her to return back again and again to that guy. She was escorted by two of three guards (those must be fully armed as well) at that time, and if she desired to teach him a lesson, according to female nature that was the right time to get her ego settle down at the spot!
AI, even it is for Media, they did good job , better then others who are in power
"Who says Man does not sacrifice for Woman!" :)
To all the people who are critisizing the effort put in by the govt of punjab and the judiciary
People are saying that this guy was never seen in the video, so why is he getting the heat? Well the lady was not seen in the video when the poor guy got beaten up as well. the incident was really sad but if it was my wife who would have committed the same crime i would have never let her face the law myself and i would have taken it on my own. this is what every single Pakistani man would do. those who do not aggree to this u guys need to feel the importance and the respect of your own wives, mothers and sisters.
@Amna: Even her husband wont go to any jail. And if he goes, the treatment he would get and the type of jail that would be is something ppl long for. I dont feel any pity for Pakistani ppl bcoz they are surely getting reward for their deeds from Allah Almighty. U name any disgraceful act and u will find them involved in it. I just feel bad about some good souls in Pakistan, who are suffering bcoz of others deeds and actually they are less nowadays.
Sa, they are doing it just because of the media hype. If that were not the case, the poor bakery guy would never have got justice.
Another way out is for the lady and her husband to publicaly say ' sorry ' and fully compensate the agrieved...........................but I suppose they will use the tried and trusted way of the rich and powerful and the agrieved will apologise and drop the case.
this is new Pakistan under PML-N, feeling myself more safe in Punjab
no body should be escaped from Law and Justice should start from people at highest position;
can i smell patch up or compromise?
What happened to the princess, can she go scot free ? Our judges are also not very fair ? are they scared of the royal people of Raiwind ? Very strange !
nothing is going to happen, the court will keep on adjourning the case even though there is a clear evidence of CCTV footage. btw where is that lady (CM's daughter) who threatened the bakery employee at the first place? oh forget it she is above the law, my bad.
This boy is the victim of excesses of his Powerful in Laws. He was not seen any where in the footage.
Good, I wonder when son of an army officer will be punished for walking on the road as he owns it & treating Police inspectors as his subservient
So a woman came to the shop and got someone beaten up by her guards, and then this guy got arrested instead, and she got off free? What the heck kind of justice is this? Why is Shabaz Sharif's daughter not being held responsible? If she can threaten to hurt someone and then have him beaten up, she can go to jail. Why should her husband go to jail? What a topi drama
Scapegoat!
I wish, If he might be pubnished to set example...
The woman who is seen in the Bakery CCTV footage is the main suspect in this case, not this man. She should be the one taken in and investigated. It is clear that Sharif is trying to protect her from the heat.
Ali Imran is a very confident looking son-in-law. He does not in the least bit look ashamed of his actions. Let us see what happens on November 30. Pakistan is doomed to suffer such ignominies. Salams
A woman came to the shop? Why have you left out the name? Everyone knows!
Good Show , He should be taught a Lesson how to behave with another human being .
