Protesting job delays: LUMHS urges students to call off strike

LUMHS has also appealed to the health department to resolve the problem of house jobs.

HYDERABAD: The Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, has urged its graduating students to call off their hunger strike against the delay in house job assignments. The university advises students to prepare for their final exams that are scheduled for December. LUMHS has also appealed to the health department to resolve the problem of house jobs by procuring funds to jointly train 760 doctors in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 batches.
