Criminal negligence: 2 girls die after gate falls over them

Police say the children, who were cousins, were playing at Eidgarh Park when its iron gate fell down.

FAISALABAD: Two girls died when the gate of a park fell over them in Mohallah Gulab Wala on Saturday. Police said the children, who were cousins, were playing at Eidgarh Park when its iron gate fell down. Muskan, 5, and Noor Fatima, 4, died on the spot. Families and neighbours of the girls demonstrated against the park administration and demanded action against them. They said the park gates had been installed only about four months ago. They also demanded action against the contractor.
