KARACHI: Pakistan lost 1-0 to Singapore in the first friendly match at Bishan Stadium in Singapore yesterday. Pakistan conceded the only goal of the match in the 45th minute, scored by Singapore’s Mohammad Shafiq. They will now play their second match on November 19 at Jurong West Stadium. Although the team faltered in the friendly match, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Secretary Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi said that the team will perform better in their next match. “Since we have five foreign players with us, it will take some time,” Lodhi told The Express Tribune. “We are using foreign players and they at least needed a match to click. That was the whole point of playing a friendly match first so they could get comfortable with the environment before the first match of the series.”
