The project will kick off with two schools in Karachi that will comprise 400 boys and girls aged six to 17. Foreign coaches from Spain will also visit Pakistan to train local coaches. In addition, students with disabilities will receive specialised care.
“We are excited about the implementation of our FRM model in Pakistan for the betterment of children through the power of sport,” said Real Madrid’s Sporting Director Miguel Pardeza.
FRM was established in 1997 to service the disadvantaged through the power of sport.

Great! but why not in Lahore and Islamabad too!!??
When the school will be open
this is a good news for us may be we are the next generation of real madrid hala madrid hala pakistan.... The Cr uxman is comming ;) !!!
do you honestly think Imran khan has anything to do with this??
this has been in the pipeline since 2008 , grow a pair, this is an initiative by the aman foundation, please give credit where credit is due
and do not try to hijack this for your own political masala, IK has nothing to do with this,
i tried to invite him many times, but apparently he doesnt have time to actually come and do something good for the country , he is too busy in arranging dummy Tsunamis, and supervising photoshopped photos and recruiting countless Hijackers to take up the works of others in to his own name
aman foundation is a not for profit trust, has no connections to mr IK, please get your facts straight
It will probably open in Defence or in KPT Ground, Because of the situations in KHI.
Go LYARI!! :D
This initiative is meant to target the bottom of the social pyramid reaching out to those who need it the most!
@ Saeed and Rafiq: this has nothing to do with Imran Khan or any political party for that matter, it is an initiative taken by the Aman Foundation and any credit is due to the Foundation, its trustees, and its team.
Firstly, this has nothing to do with IK....he may be a great leader but this venture is not his vision nor is it his efforts.......secondly, there may be justified skeptics regarding NGOs in Pakistan but Aman Foundation is one of the few who are truly transparent, professional and slowly making a difference to the under-served population of our country....
GREATTTT!!!!!
it is good for PAKISTAN.Thaaank you REAL MADRID.
Why not one in Islamabad? Hussain wants it here!
Thank You Read Madrid!!!
I just saw a clip of Dawn News that Saudi Arabia and UAE invest $10,000,000 into deoband/wahabi madarassas per year. I wish these countries invest in helping pakistan become a better country but afsos they want to do the total opposite.
Greatttt...
@Rafiq...Give a warm thank you to Imran khan...it is only because of him that youth is getting such attention first time in the history of Pakistan...have you seen PML N doing this all in there previous governments...also why there was no youth festival..laptop distribution and other initiatives before 30th October Lahore jalsa of PTI..can you remind me of any such thing before all this....wake up and joint the revolution..
Congratulation for this great land mark wish you good luck and my good wishes to this organization are always with this noble Organization. It will help to promote football in the country.
Please don't disgrace our country by fighting on the locations of school. Thank you Real Madrid For your noble deed. Hope it will reenforce Belief in oneness of humanity and bring people closer.
footbomb
Please send some female RM coaches atleast this will help me focus on balls ;)
@Lahori:
Yes but then ET will fold because it will have nothing to report on Pakistan!
Great, these schools should be established in Lyari.
For some reason I feel that we have had enough bashing and the days are near when all these newspapers and websites will be full of good news from Pakistan
Definitely the right move. It's a win-win in terms of progress for the sport, as well as monetary terms.
This is a very good initiative. Pakistan has a lot of raw talent when it comes to football. I hope these schools help in identifying some potential stars for our country. My only concern is that it may be too over priced for the common man.
Good News!! But they should set up one in Lahore as well. CM of Punjab should take initiative in it and I am sure if he takes interest, he can do it. To me he is looking after Lahore youth pretty well.
Hope the NGO on our side don't make money out of this great initiative! The children from grassroots level should be given the opportunity and priority! Maybe those kids are working to support their family. Those kids have great talent!
