@Hairaan. I won't be surprised that people like you exist. You must be from Pakistan.
@praveen: Sighting moon to determine start of month is no different to sighting clock to determine start of next day. Islamic calendar is a Lunar calendar and hence the sighting of the moon critically determines the temporal reference for the calendar.
Try to understand your own earth and moon before claiming 'other planets' my friend :)
There go the public holidays (since 9th & 10th will now be on a weekend).
@Natasha: The new year/month starts from Nov 16th (tomorrow), but Ashura (10th Muharram) will fall on Nov 25th.
@praveen: Don't be jealous.
@Farooq Rehmani: And the rest be ready for traffic jams, diversions, delays, forced business closures, etc.
It had to be the weekkennnddddd!
@praveen I wonder what is going through the mind of a champion of rest of the world when he is browsing through a news-website of a pathetic society?
And considers obliged to comment!
