Abandoned: Toddler left at roadside

GUJRANWALA: A magistrate on Wednesday allowed the Child Protection Bureau to have a toddler examined at a hospital. He was found abandoned on a roadside. A bureau spokesperson said that the two and a half year old child was handed over to them by a man who had seen the child being thrown out of a black sedan. The incident happened in the Aroop police station jurisdiction on Wednesday morning. The spokesperson said that the child appeared to have been molested and also bore cigarette burns on his body.
