Working women: Hostel at UAF to be completed this year

FAISALABAD: A working women’s hostel would be completed by the end of this year at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF).

This was stated by Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan, the vice chancellor, at the inaugural ceremony of a two-day funfair, organised by the Laboratory Girls High School (LGHS) on Tuesday.

The facility will house 50 women. Dr Khan said that women empowerment was the need of hour, adding that the UAF was trying to impart entrepreneurial and vocational skills to women.
