2 killed, 10 injured in Quetta blast
According to initial reports, a timed bomb was planted in a cycle parked at Almo Chowk which exploded when an FC vehicle passed by. The explosion damaged nearby shops and other vehicles.
“Two people passing by were killed in the blast and nine others wounded. The injured also included three FC soldiers,” Wazir Khan Nasir, a senior police official told AFP.
Another police official Zubair Mehmood told AFP that the blast occurred five kilometres outside Quetta.
“The FC convoy was a target apparently. Around 5kg of explosive was installed in the bicycle parked roadside. It exploded when the FC convoy passed nearby,” he said.
The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
Police and FC personnel reached the site soon after the incident. Security officials resorted to aerial firing to disperse people from the area.

In Quetta, its not only Punjabi's who are being killed. There are Baloch plp kidnapped and brutally killed after, there are Hazara Shiaz who are mercilessly killed and proudly accepted by LeJ for the massacre, there are other minorities like Hindus kidnapped and killed, there are punjabi's like (my favorite) Fazal Bari ( intellectual), and others. The systematic killings of innocent people in Quetta are continued and our so called Govt. representatives like CM Raisani and Rehman Malik still claim that security situation is under control. The irony is, most of all such killings take place in the very same area and yet our Govt., security agencies are failed curb such brutal acts.
It is a shame that this in-human scenario is now common in Baluchistan. It is also shameful that the Sharif's or the Punjab Government has not even uttered a word on the massive planned extermination of Punjabi's in Baluchistan.
Were they not declared more "PATRIOT AND FRIENDS" of Pakistan than anyone by the Supreme Court in its hearing on Balochistan issue.
