IG Sindh has reportedly issued a show cause notice for Deputy Inspector General(s) of three zones of Karachi due to their failure to maintain peace in their areas.
Earlier Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah held a meeting, where they discussed the law and order situation in the city and steps to improve it, including beefing up security in sensitive areas.
In the past two days, over 30 people have been killed in Karachi.

A special team should be made called. Something like elite force of Karachi. They shoot the target killers on sight. At the moment the rangers aint doing nothing.. someone was telling me the target killers came at Garden area in karachi, Shot 2 people dead while the ranger personnel were standing on the opposite side of the road. They started shooting in the air and the target killers ran away on their bikes.
Let's make obtaining arms legaly easier. people will defend themselves. Right now armless common man is an easy prey with no protection. Possesing arms for defence is our constitional right. Hope some one take this issue to court. government is only making things difficult for common man while illegal arms is in abundance for criminals.
"including beefing up security in sensitive areas."
more security for bilawal house, cm house, governer house, offices and homes of MNA and MPAs, security agencies offices, elite class hotels. NOTHING WILL BE DONE FOR COMMON MAN...
If Zardari was really concerned he woud have taken measures long ago. By keeping inept officials in places of power, his lack of concern about Karachi is more than evident.
Finally they notice the killings after what? 50,60 deaths?. Top notch security. Just what we voted for.
It seems like the city of light is sinking in the dark under the present government!!! No wonder it would be a turning point for Pakistan's stability since Karachi is a financial hub and it is being distroyed because of its political and ethinical affiliation.
