Revenue collection: KWSB asks people to pay their dues

Bills charged to residents are minimal and do not include the full value of work done: MD

KARACHI: The managing director of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB), Misbahuddin Farid, has asked the organisation’s revenue department to speed up the process of collecting revenues. 

According to Farid, the bills charged to residents are minimal and do not include the full value of the extensive filtration processes conducted by the organisation. KWSB can provide the city’s residents with water and sewerage facilities only if they pay bills on time, he added. The managing director has asked the revenue department to continue working during the upcoming Ashura holidays.
