Personal enmity?: Folk singer shot dead
Four armed men on two motorcycles opened fire at Khaskheli as he came out of his house.
HYDERABAD:
A Sindhi folk singer, Kamal Khan Khaskheli, was shot dead by unidentified men in Nasim Nagar, Qasimabad on Sunday.
Despite the ban on pillion driving, four armed men on two motorcycles opened fire at Khaskheli as he came out of his house. He died on the spot.
Doctors said that he received three bullet wounds. He left behind two sons and five daughters. Khaskheli, hailing from Halani, was also working as sales manager for an insurance company.
According to his relatives, Khaskheli had been receiving threatening phone calls over an alleged affair between his cousin and a girl. No case was registered at Nasim Nagar police station till this report was filed.
