Spreading Fear: Blast near ex-MMA leader’s house

The police said that the blast occurred near the house of former MMA Sabir Hussain Awan.

A low intensity bomb exploded on the outskirts of the city in Tarnab Farm, in the jurisdiction of Chamkani police station on Saturday evening. 


No loss of life was reported. The police said that the blast occurred near the house of former MMA Sabir Hussain Awan. “There was no target in the attack.

We think it was aimed at creating panic instead,” said SHO Chamkani Haji Inayatullah, adding that around 500g of explosives had been used in the homemade device.
