Iqbal Day: SSUET organises ceremony to pay tribute

Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology recalls life and times of Dr Allama Iqbal.

KARACHI: The life and times of Dr Allama Iqbal were recalled at a ceremony organised by the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology on Friday.

The university’s chancellor, ZA Nizami, lauded the contribution of the great poet, thinker and philosopher. “Iqbal devoted his poetry to the renaissance of Islam. This concept later became the basis of the ideology of Pakistan,” said Nizami.
