Asghar Khan case: Imran Khan lashes out against Sharif brothers
“Those who alleged that the PTI was financed by the ISI [Inter-Services Intelligence] have been found accused in the Asghar Khan case as it has been proved that ISI gave money to [PML-N chief] Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N to do rigging,” Imran said addressing a gathering on Friday.
Imran challenged that if anyone could prove that the PTI received money from the ISI, he would quit politics forever.
The Supreme Court had on Thursday announced its detailed verdict in the Asghar Khan case and ordered a probe into allegations against the Intelligence Bureau (IB) distributing Rs270 million in Punjab during governor rule.
Last month, the Supreme Court announced a short judgement where it held two retired military generals, Director General ISI Lt Gen (retd) Asad Durrani and Chief of Army Staff Gen (retd) Aslam Baig, responsible for bribing politicians in order to rig the 1990 general elections.

@ Jat oh how funny, you were an Indian and you were talking as if it would be gr8 loss to you if Zardari came into power. How melodramatic! And talking of that "has nawaz gone mad comment" - as far as I know, that person was a PML-N supporter (don't know abt current status) he was angry abt why the leader he supported did such a thing. So where does the argument of PTI supporters being narrow minded go now?? The truth is that there are narrow minded people everywhere, in every party in every country. Also every one of us have a subconscious bias. There is no need to target a group un-necessarily.
Pakistanis I am an Indian and therefore not interested in any of your stupid parties. What interests me is people of Pakistan and how they are used and manipulated by the ruling elite, especially the military.

The hysterical reaction from PTI trolls shows how narrow-minded and intolerant they are. When I criticize PPP or PML(N), I never get such reactions from them. This is a difference that has been noticed by all writers of newspaper columns and most of TV talk show hosts. The vulgar attacks on Nusrat Javed and Sana Buccha are clear example of such crass behavior.
These are the kind of people who say that they will provide "better" governance. Better governance my foot !

Considering that Jat is right about ISI supporting IK...then the following assumption should be true:
ISI, back in late 80’s early 90’s, tired really hard to support and turn Nawaz S. into a leader......but when the realized that no matter how much money and effort they put in for Nawaz, he will remain just another incompetent, greedy, opportunistic and corrupt leader.
So they stopped wasting their effort on Nawaz and waited for an intelligent, competent, sincere, visionary leader to appear of the political scene. They finally found that leader inImran Khan and now they maybe supporting him.

In first Election of Imran Khan, there were about 350 total seats of NE & PE, where PTI candidates fought.
If one seat approx expenditures Rs 2000000 , then 350 seats X Rs 2000000 = ? How PTI got this big amount for Election

BTW The doctor's community (as I am a part of it) dislikess PML-N and PPP equally and we can not afford another government of the PML-N (as much as we can't afford another govt of the ppp). The pml-n rulers are deliberate liars, and always waste money and use violence to solve the matters. They are all "anti-civil servants," Civil servant communities cannot afford another PML-N govt as well.

PMLN is at all time low these days. Their spokespersons fail to defend their leadership misdeeds. Nawaz Sharif has embarrassed its party workers, supporters and well wishers. Examples need to be made of those who didn't honor people's right to vote and rigged the election whether they are generals or politicians to close the chapter of ISI's involvement in politics once and for all. If PPP government could not brought to them to book, the people of Pakistan have their birth right to vote them out in the coming general elections. This is an opportunity that must be availed by the people of Pakistan in order for the democracy to prosper.
history of Nawaz Sharif..... 1) spent decade with one military dictator (ZH) 2) used army and ISI for next decade to remain in power 3) then in last term choose musharaf out of his turn and did the deal with him to not disturb our business and rule on government 4) due to his personal grudge with musharaf he supported zardari and asked him his elder brother.

Imran Khan's single point agenda is to harm Nawaj Sharif so as to help Zardari and PPP. If Zardari comes back to power in the coming elections, Imran Khan will be the sole reason behind it.
To set an example and go down in history as men of principles, both the Sharif brothers should quit politics.

Stop trashing IK all of you people being paid a salary by PML (N). Do you not stop for a moment and think about the repurcussions of your actions? By re-electing another corrupt and inefficient government, we might not have a Pakistan in 5 years time.
I ask Nawaz Shareef about the "qarz utaro mulk sawaro" scheme. How much debt did he pay off for the country when billions were donated by the people? I also ask him about his tax returns. Why are you yet to disclose them like IK? I ask him about the BBC documentary made on Money laundering. Why don't you take them to court for defamation? I ask him about the billions he transferred out of Pakistan before the nuclear bomb detonation. Why did you not allow the ordinary people of Pakistan to do the same by giving them advance notice?
Please stop fooling the people. The choice is clear we have the old corrupt system, we have IK or we have the army.

Tommorow there will be 10 other Sharif's; as long as the money is bening handed out, there will be enough hands to take it. Speak against the source (that's if you have courage); or if that is in your manifesto provided by your ISI / Army bosses.

I have no doubt in my mind that PML N has caused more damage to Pakistan then zardari or PPP....we as a nation lost 11 years of our life when from 1988 to 1999 these two parties instead of doing some thing good for Pakistan..did corruption..leg pulling of each others government by any means including using army..11 years in a life on nation is make or break situation..then suddenly in 2008 noon join hands with the same old enemy just in the opposition and hate of Musharraf otherwise every one knew there is nothing common in these parties..and finally when it came to the presidential election of zardari..the same noon league did not challenged his papers on the basis of NRO and the biggest noora kushti was that at that time the same zardari was chairman of PPP before being elected president..so why are Noon crying now of dual offices of president..why they have nt askes him to resign from PPP before getting elected for president at that time...every single president in our history has resigned from its party affiliation before being elected as president..just like farooq laghari...I think Noon thinks that people are so stupid that they dont realize these things..they will get it know hard way in the next elections..
