Bombs defused in Charsadda, Nowshera

Bombs carrying 2kg and 5kg of explosive material defused.

Terror bids were foiled as two bombs were defused in Charsadda and Nowshera on Friday, Express News reported.

The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused a bomb which was found from Battagram Road of the Sardyab area in Charsadda.

The remote-controlled bomb was left in front of a general store on Battagram Road.

According to a BDS official, the bomb had 2kg of explosives in it.

Another bomb, with 5kg of explosives, which was recovered from the Cantt area of Nowshera near ACL flyover, was also defused by the BDS squad.
