Pakistani drugs smuggler beheaded in Saudi Arabia
Mnawar Khan was arrested at King Khaled International airport in Riyadh as he was trying to "smuggle... an amount of heroin found in his body," said a ministry statement carried by the official SPA news agency.
He was beheaded by the sword in the capital Riyadh, it said.
The execution brings to 63 the number of people put to death in Saudi Arabia so far this year, according to an AFP tally based on official reports.
Amnesty International says 79 people were put to death last year.
Rape, murder, apostasy, armed robbery and drug trafficking are all punishable by death under its strict version of sharia, or Islamic law.

Looking at the Saudi standard of justice one is compelled to think it could be another case of a poor Pakistani falling victim to Saudi brutality concealed in sharia wrapper .
Thing is that...Pakistanis excel at doing what is forbidden by both religion and world.
Apostasy is not punishable under worldly laws. Will Saudis get this?
This week there was another paki caught at Toronto international airport with same thing.. good going boys ! Beg mor money world over, and then produce and distribute these goods..
Though I am not against it , but this punishment can be replaced by Hanging or venom injection . No country has this kind of punishment . I wonder who is that man who beheads these smugglers .Are we living in stone ages?One thing is certain , petro money can't teach anyone the humanity .
