Honoured: HBL declared strongest bank in Pakistan

KARACHI: The Asian Banker magazine has declared Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Pakistan’s largest commercial bank, the “Strongest Bank in Pakistan”. The announcement was made at a ceremony in Osaka, Japan. The award was announced on the basis of stringent criteria including scale of operations, balance sheet growth, risk management, profitability, asset quality and liquidity. Head Global Compliance Jamil Iqbal and Head Payment Services Faiq Sadiq represented HBL on the occasion.
