Females only: SSUET to launch directory for alumni

Girls Affairs Committee head says more than 1,200 girls had graduated from the university between 1998 and 2008.

KARACHI: The Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology has decided to launch a directory of its female alumni. The head of the Girls Affairs Committee, Attiya Abid, said that more than 1,200 girls had graduated from the university between 1998 and 2008 and currently, around 682 of the university’s 6,194 students were women. The committee has been compiling information about the university’s female students since the first batch graduated in 1998.
