KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Zafar Iqbal Jhagra has criticised the government for not implementing court orders and for also turning a deaf ear to demands of letting the parliament design the country’s foreign policy. Jhagra was addressing members of the Karachi Bar Association at Shuhada-e-Punjab Hall on Tuesday. He added that the PML-N had submitted recommendations for banning drone attacks, but to no avail. The number of drone attacks have also increased during the current government’s tenure, he said. KBA general secretary Khalid Mumtaz observed that opposition parties were not as united as the government and its coalition partners. The opposition needs to unite so that it could work for the betterment of the people. PML-N MNA Dr Darshan Lal and the party’s Sindh secretary general Saleem Zia were also present on the occasion.
