Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo wants a definite victory for Fernando Alonso in next week’s United States Grand Prix, and he has given his team the challenge of giving the racer a winning car, according to Sky Sports. Montezemolo described the next 10 days ‘crucial’ for the team’s title hopes as the engineers needed to make better upgrades than the ones brought to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. “It’s clear that we have to do more for the coming races,” said Montezemolo. “That is what I requested of [Stefano] Domenicali (Ferrari team principal) and his team — we have 10 crucial days ahead, during which we must do everything to arrive in Texas with a car that can fight for the victory. Words count for nothing — this must be our target.”
