Pakistan refuses flag meeting with India: Report

The Indian army has claimed that Pakistan refused a flag meeting with India following an alleged ceasefire violation in the Uri sector of the Line of Control (LOC) in Kashmir, reported IANS on Tuesday.

Major General Bipin Rawat, general officer commanding (GOC) of the 19 Mountain Division, said that Pakistani troops had violated the ceasefire in Uri sector last month and then refused Indian’s request of a flag meeting.

“They even denied having violated the ceasefire. Yesterday (Monday) also, Pakistan rangers violated the ceasefire in the Uri sector,” the GOC was quoted as saying.

According to the report, he further alleged that the ceasefire violations were meant to assist infiltration from Pakistan. “They want to infiltrate as many terrorists as possible into our side before the snowfall although some snowfall has already occurred along the LOC,” he claimed.

With a ceasefire in place for more than 10 years now, the India-Pakistan border has not been the only route for infiltration. More importantly, India’s home-grown groups have made it near impossible to differentiate between foreign infiltrators and local militants.

@BruteForce:

I always feel a little upset when Hindustanis learn a clever word like 'canard' and then use it with no knowledge of what they're doing. A little like you, I guess.

"...although estimates based on data provided by the finance ministry in its economic survey suggest that the poverty rate may have increased to an astonishing 43%."

So your certifiable data is based on rough estimates and speculative calculations - so much for you trying to prove me wrong. If Pakistan's government fudges its figures, what do you think goes on in Delhi? Hindustanis desperately try to take false credit for bringing so much into this world, but the one thing you are known for is deceit - I can assure you that there is even less validity to poverty data in Hindustan than there is from our despicable government in Islamabad.

LOL @ Hindustan's poverty levels decreasing...you're the only South Asian nation to have actually slipped down the hunger index over the past two decades. No matter how many Bollywood films you watch, the reality is very different from what you're thinking.

That's gotta hurt.

Hasan
