SSGC: Managing director Siddiqui resigns
Managing director of the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) Azim Iqbal Siddiqui resigned from the company on personal grounds, said a press release on Monday.
His resignation was placed before the company’s directors in an emergent meeting of board of directors held under the chairmanship of Salim Abbas Jilani on Saturday November 3, 2012 at the SSGC’s head office.
After detailed deliberations, the board accepted Siddiqui’s resignation that will be in effect from November 8. The directors paid tributes for the services rendered by Siddiqui for the company during his association that spanned over 35 years.
As a replacement for Siddiqui, the meeting decided to appoint Corporate Services Deputy Managing Director Zuhair Siddiqui as the managing director.
