Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf is expected to meet the President of France Francis Hollande at the Laotian capital on the sidelines of the Asia Europe Meeting (ASEM-9) summit, being held on November 5-6.
In a meeting with Finnish Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen on Sunday, Ashraf said that Finnish businessmen take advantage of the investor-friendly policies of Pakistan.
Ashraf reached Laos on Sunday to attend the ASEM summit. Besides delivering a statement at the ASEM summit, Ashraf will hold meetings with many heads of the state and government on its sidelines.
Prior to his departure from Islamabad, Ashraf said it was an important forum that would be attended by leaders from Asia and Europe. “Our focus will be on socio-economic issues.”
