Taking stance: JKLL snubs Pakistani version of Kashmir
JKLL President condemns the move, says Pakistan had acknowledged that Jammu and Kashmir were part of India.
MUZAFFARABAD:
The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation League (JKLL) strongly protested and condemned the statement of the Home Secretary of Pakistan submitted in the Supreme Court in which Kashmir was shown as a province of India and the liberation movement was termed as violence and chaos in the disputed Himalayan State. According to a press release, the JKLL President (retd) Abdul Majeed Mallick condemned the move and said that Pakistan had acknowledged that Jammu and Kashmir were part of India. Strongly protesting the statement he said that Pakistan had overlooked sacrifices made by millions to attain freedom. He urged the Pakistani nation to show solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir by denouncing the stance taken by the present government on the Kashmir issue.
