Strengthening ties: President to visit Qatar

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari is due to pay a two-day official visit to Qatar on Tuesday. The meeting is aimed at strengthening ties with the Gulf state in multiple sectors. The president will hold talks with the Qatar Emir and the prime minister. The meeting will be focused on promoting trade and investment amongst the countries. It is also likely that the president will discuss the issue of importing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).  The president will also meet eminent Qatari businessmen.
