Law and order: ‘Karachi is no better than Malakand’
Iftikhar Hussain asks the Army to launch an operation against armed terrorist groups in Karachi.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s information minister, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, said on Friday that the law and order situation in Karachi is similar to that of Malakand division and asked the Army to launch an operation against armed groups challenging the writ of the state.
He condemned the killing of two Awami National Party workers in Karachi and asked the Sindh government and Pakistan Peoples Party to take action against the perpetrators behind the “barbaric incident.”
He said that the Rangers had failed to restore peace in the Karachi and urged the army to launch operation to purge the city of those who challenge the writ of the state.
