Left-hander Saud Shakil produced an impressive all-round performance when he scored a half-century and took four wickets to help Metropolitan CC to a 61-run win against Orangi United CC to enter the semi-finals of the KCCA Zone-VI ‘A’ Division League at the RLCA ground.
Metropolitan CC posted a total of 217 for six in 40 overs as Shakil top-scored with 53. In reply, Orangi United were bowled out for 156 in 31 overs.
Meanwhile, Pakistan CC beat AOCC with an eight-wicket victory at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium. AOCC were all out for a paltry 90 in 40 overs. In reply, Pakistan CC made 91 for two in just 11.1 overs as Babar Agha remained unbeaten on 42.
