Abduction: Parents seek son’s recovery

SWAT: The parents of a boy who was allegedly kidnapped over a week back, have accused the police of denying them assistance in their child’s recovery. Habib, a resident of Kabal told media persons that his son, Yaqoob Salman, 15, was kidnapped while returning home in Matta nine days back. “Upon hearing the news, we rushed to the police station but instead of offering moral support, the police harassed us and sent us away without lodging a case,” said Habib. Police negated the allegation, saying that an FIR was registered on October 24 and an inquiry is underway.
