Road accident: Five injured in Nowshera crash

Three-wheelers, bicycles, pedestrians and carts were not allowed on highway to avoid such incidents, says official.

NOWSHERA: Five people were injured when a speeding passenger van hit a rickshaw in Jehangira Square on Thursday. A Nowshera Highway police official said that at around 12 noon the speeding van en route to Rawalpindi from Peshawar hit the three-wheeler, overturning it. Five passengers, a man, woman and three children, were injured. The injured were taken to a private clinic nearby. The official also said that three-wheelers, bicycles, pedestrians and carts were not allowed on the highway precisely to avoid such incidents.
