Election preparations: PPP to re-mobilise party workers

Regional coordinators will be responsible for new appointments at district and tehsil levels, says Liaqat Shahbab.

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is planning to hold conferences across the province to mobilise workers before the upcoming elections. Conventions will be held in Mardan, Malakand and Peshawar on November 12, 17 and 28 respectively which will be attended by the party’s provincial leadership. Party members will also gather at Nishtar Hall to commemorate the PPP’s 45th anniversary on November 30. PPP Provincial Information Secretary and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise and Taxation, Liaqat Shahbab, said that meetings will be held twice a month up till election dates. He added that regional coordinators will be responsible for new appointments at district and tehsil levels.
