Sindh’s Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Tuesday that the government and its allied parties will not let miscreants hatch conspiracies to destabilise the law and order situation of Karachi.
Speaking to the media at the Bilawal House, Memon said the Pakistan Peoples Part believes in a reconciliatory policy and the reservations of disgruntled elements would be removed through dialogue.
He said his party has great respect for all political parties including Pakistan Muslim League-Functional and its leader Pir Pagara’s reservations will be addressed.
He also deliberated over President Asif Ali Zardari’s press briefing earlier in which the head of state talked about eradicating polio by 2013.
He added the government would take concrete steps to put an end to targeted killings and general unrest in Karachi.
Speaking about the allegations leveled against the government regarding Mumtaz Bhutto and his son Amir Bakhsh Bhutto, Memon said his party was not involved in any case.
