Pic Conference: International moot starts on 2nd

LAHORE: The Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) is to host the first Biennial International Conference on Cardiac Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology and the PIC Heart Talk 2012 at a local hotel from November 2 to November 4.

The conference is being organised under the auspices of the Pakistan Heart Rhythm Society and will include cardiologists and cardiac electro-physiologists from all over the world.

PIC Chief Executive Dr Bilal Zakariah Khan said that the conference would discuss recent developments in the field in Pakistan and the rest of South Asia. It would include special sessions on electrocardiography, invasive cardiology, cardiac imaging, emergency cardiac management and ECG manifestation in other organic diseases, he said.
