At least eight people injured in the attack. They have been rushed to the hospital.

One killed in grenade attack on sub-inspector's house in DI Khan

DI KHAN: One person was killed and at least eight were injured when unknown armed men hurled a grenade at the house of a police officer in Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday evening, Express News reported.

According to details, men riding on motorcycles threw a grenade at the house of sub-inspector Ghazanfar Ali.

The blast killed Zia Shan and injured at least eight other people.

The injured were rushed to the hospital. However, with some staff absent on account of Eid, relatives of the victims protested and chanted slogans against the hospital administration.

After the attack, police cordoned off the area.

Ali is posted as a sub-inspector in Tank.

Its a sectarian attack. People were gathered at Ghazanfar Ali's house for majlis e aza.
