As usual people in most parts of Fata including Mohmand, North Waziristan and Bajaur Agencies will celebrate Eidul Azha with Saudi Arabia on Friday (today), though the official Ruet-e-Hilal Committee had announced Eid on Saturday across the country.
Afghan refugees in camps like Munda Hajizai and other parts of tribal areas have announced they will celebrate Eidul Azha on Friday with Afghanistan. In Shabqadar Charsadda few clerics in union council Matta announced Eid on Friday.
In Swabi district, residents of the remote Gandaf area have decided to celebrate Eid on Friday due to a number of Afghan refugees living there. (With additional input by our correspondents in Swabi)

@Khurram Awan: A small reminder for all of us that some people can eat from this land and can enjoy good life here but will never own this land and when anything will arise then they will side with the land of their ancestors rather than with you and always hinder unity among you as they want to live among you but dont want to be like you and dont want to be identified among you
Khurram ji, what an irony. This is precisely what is said about the local Muslim population in other countries - western world in particular. Muslims are known to live in their small communities and they never mingle with the people of their adopted countries.
Just thought I would point it out :)
Whether we like it or not the fact is that the Saudi version of Salafi Islam is fast replacing the real Islamic faith. It has already done so in many places, so we have to be mentally prepared to face this reality. Celebrating Eid festival on two consecutive days is the norm but celebrating Eid-ul-Azha on three days is difficult to justify as it is related with the Hajj.
Saudis have played the most negative and destructive role in polarising Pakistani society. Zia Ul Haq and Nawaz after him, considered them as friends of Pakistan and turned out to be our biggest enemies with dsigns to divide and rule us with a remote control from there. Unfortunately, they have been succesful in our tribal territories so far and it's about time that we be assertive and tell them to back off from this and we must clean our territories completely with all traces of Saudi brand of religion.
Even in parts of Karachi and Lahore second generation Afghans with Pakistani Passports are celebrating Eid with Afghanistan and with the rest of the Middle east. A small reminder for all of us that some people can eat from this land and can enjoy good life here but will never own this land and when anything will arise then they will side with the land of their ancestors rather than with you and always hinder unity among you as they want to live among you but dont want to be like you and dont want to be identified among you
if these are not united on Eid like religious issue then how it is possible that they will be united in other issue and unity among them is gave harm to Muslim but if they know that what are they doing sorry for these selfish.
So, even if it is a dry day in KP and FATA and it rains in Saudi Arabia, then I won't be surprised if everyone would be roaming around with an umbrella there.
