Constable Javed Ahmed said that Riaz Ahmed was going on his motorcycle when unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire on him, killing him instantly. Police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. The deceased was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy. “The motive behind the killing could not be known,” Constable Ahmed said.
