Iftikhar spoke with Dr Dave Rosser and inquired after the fifteen-year-old’s health.
According to the report, the hospital spokeswoman said: "The Minister brought get-well cards and flowers for the 15-year-old, although he was not able to visit her personally. He sincerely thanked the nurses, doctors and support staff involved in her care.”
Iftikhar said that Malala was receiving the 'best care in the world', the spokeswoman added. He said the hospital has the most appropriate expertise and experience to treat the injured teenager.
Meanwhile, according to a Geo.tv report, Queen Elizabeth Hospital in its daily update on Malala has announced that she is making good progress and is in a stable condition.
Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who is currently the UN Special Envoy for Global Education, declared that November 10 should be observed as a day for action for Malala day. It is hoped that the day can boost the status of female education worldwide.

Everything that is being done for Malala's recovery is commendable and I pray for her. But what about all those children that are killed in drone attacks and other terrorist activities? Are they not important enough?

Let me clarify it first that I'm not conspiracy theorist. But, when I see this picture taken at hospital, I cannot see the bandage over the bullet mark, which was on her forehead before leaving Pakistan. Can bullet mark from sensitive area i.e. her forehead be recovered in short time? i'm curious.
Glad to hear that this 'minister' was not allowed to meet Malala. Tell him to go back where he came from.
She has done great job and she is example for all humans to speak truth whether they know that they will have to face danger. She is doing the great JIHAD, this is true JIHAD which should be done against evils because the attack is being done by the POWER of Pen.
They did not let the KP Minister see Malala because they don't trust Pakistanis coming close to her. They never know what the Pakistanis intentions are??? DO YOU ????
Nice read! Thumbs up to GB PM. Get well soon Malala Yousafzai. the iron girl
Malala has defeated Taliban. They (taliban) couldn't silent Malala's voice for girls' education even their assassination attempt on her; now her voice has become global voice as "Malala Day" on 10the November. Much appreciated action taken by former prime minister Gordon Brown.
Pakistan should also celebrate this day to honor Malala's struggle.
