‘Honour’ crime: Man kills sister over suspicion

FAISALABAD: A man shot his sister dead on Tuesday in the Garh Maharaja area. Police said he had suspected her of having an affair with a neighbour. They said Saleem, a resident of Chah Khabriwala, had suspected that his his sister Sania, 22, was having an affair. They said the two had had several arguments. On Tuesday, Saleem shot her and fled the house. The family has registered a case and the body was sent for a post-mortem examination.
