KARACHI: The Pakistan Squash Federation needs to appoint more coaches in order to help Jamshed Gul pay more attention to players, said former player Atlas Khan.

Atlas, father of Pakistan number one Aamir Atlas, said head coach Gul had too much on his plate, adding that he was unable to give an individual player the required time to rectify flaws.

“The PSF should appoint coaches who can take some of the load off Gul,” Atlas told The Express Tribune. “Gul can then give players the proper amount of time they need to work on their game.

“I’ve been training my sons Aamir and Danish and they have gone on to do well. But I feel the federation needs to hire more people so that upcoming players can get the right amount of guidance.”
