Asghar Khan case: Dr AQ Khan urges government to implement SC orders
In a statement released on Tuesday, Dr Khan paid tribute to the Supreme Court of Pakistan for exposing a “dark chapter” of the country’s political history, adding that the apex court should ensure implementation of the order.
He said that the country should be purged with corrupt politicians for ensuring a true democratic country as dreamt by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. It was necessary to brought to book those who helped steal the 1990 general elections, he maintained.
Dr Khan reposed his faith in the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhruddin G Ibrahim, saying that he was an honest judge and that under his vigilance, people of Pakistan should be able to elect a loyal and honest government.

What a great man...Pakistan will be safe and secure when people like him takeover from the westoxicated riff-raff.
Forty of filth filled with conspiracies, deceit, corruption is bound to come in open and the partners in crimes are pitted against each other...the unfortunate part is people of this country suffered all through and will continue to suffer...As these Actors are presenting themselves as savers of this nation and continually justifying there acts. What about serious nuclear racket charges against Dr Khan? Shouldn't actions be taken against those. As per Gen Musharraf's interview in Awaam ki Adaalat Dr Khan had a very relaxed home probation with bodyguards etc and he was fully mobile as well
The fact is SC did not expose anybody, they only confirmed what everybody knew all along. AQ has an axe to grind against these generals and their rightwing supporters who had forced him to go out and be a scapegoat for them. When AQ can be forced to apologize why not the rightwing politicians and corrupt and convicted generals. However, we are living in a country where Zardari and elected PPP is criminal without a single case proven against them and the unelected convicted by the SC are all innocent patriotic!
