Arrests: CID conducts raid in Surjani Town

Arrested suspects were carrying three hand grenades, three pistols and a Kalashnikov.

KARACHI: The crime investigation department arrested two people during a raid in the Surjani Town on Monday. The suspects, Ashiq aka Kashi and Amir aka Bandar, were carrying three hand grenades, three pistols and a Kalashnikov. According to SSP Fayyaz Khan, head money of one million rupees was being offered on Ashiq’s arrest. The two suspects were involved in more than 100 killings, robberies and kidnappings in Karachi and Punjab, he added. SSP Khan also mentioned that the names of both the individuals were on the list of most wanted criminals in Punjab.
