Three injured as PPP workers turn violent at Lahore airport
Three officials of the Airport Security Forces (ASF) were reportedly injured.
Workers, holding bamboo sticks and chanting slogans, seemed to lose all control and tried entering the passenger lounge. ASF personnel and the police reached the site to calm the workers and tried to restore order in the area.
Passengers at the airport were stuck inside while authorities made their utmost efforts to restore order.
The workers, however, cooled down once PPP's provincial leadership reached the airport and pacified them. They were seen dancing to the beat of drums and waved flags.
Wattoo and other PPP leaders, including General Secretary Kaira and Firdous Ashiq Awan, arrived at the Lahore airport and are heading to Nasir Bagh to address a rally.

Calm the workers???? Why were the workers not arrested and charged with battery/assault? They disturbed law and order and injured three security persons. Anywhere else in the world and they would surely be arrested.
I saw it mentioned already but really, who in their right mind welcomes someone holding bamboo sticks? 1: "I'm going to pick up my grandma at the airport." 2: "Did you remember your bamboo stick?" 1: "Oh. Right. Gotta make sure she still has her reflexes before I say hello and if she doesn't, we'll at least have a good laugh on the way to the hospital."

when you don't have anything to do... when government doesn't create jobs or leisure activities for people, when politician [as they do always] think of showing up their power, instead of wisdom.. when a father works for whole family and 18+ kids just play cricket and gossip with friends, this happens.
Where 4 person play cards and 16 persons stands around them to watch, what do you expect from this society.
Oh! these poor workers, hopeful, that one day they will get the party ticket and their life will change with all our tax money
