A statement from the judiciary named the men as Yahya Charizehi, Abdoljalil Kahrazehi and Abdolbasset Rigi, who were executed in the prison of the provincial capital of Zahedan.
Charizehi and Kahrazehi were convicted for a bombing in Chabahar city in December 2010 that killed 39 people taking part in a Shia procession, said Zahedan's prosecutor Mohammad Marzieh, quoted by Mehr news agency.
Rigi was convicted for a blast in Zahedan in July of the same year that targeted Revolutionary Guards and killed 28 people, according to the same source.
The judiciary branded the three men "terrorists," without mention of Jundallah, a rebel group which claimed both attacks.
The hangings came two days after a suicide bomber outside a Shia mosque killed two Basiji, militiamen, and wounded five others at a mosque in Chabahar.
Sistan-Balochistan, which shelters a significant Sunni minority in overwhelmingly Shia Iran, has for years been the scene of bloody attacks by Jundallah, whose chief Abdulmalek Rigi was captured and hanged in 2010.
Tehran accuses US, British and Pakistani intelligence of supporting the group, which was officially designated a "terrorist organisation" by the United States in June 2010.

Shame on us, we should learn from the Iranians...these were from Jundullah - trained by the Americans / UK , but yet these gang members are taken headon by the Iranians.Iran last year caught the leader of Jundullah & put him to death within 1 month of his trial. This is the way we should be doing it.It is because their laws have been amended to tackle such elements....while we glorify our terrorists etc; who have the guts to confess yet let-off because we do not have proper laws to frame them nor have proper investigative facilities to build hard evidence against them....& we have politicians etc ;who supports them out of fear for their own lives....
Iran is not ruled by Ba Ba Blacksheep english-medium riff-rff...like the the westoxicated slaves in Pakistan
@ Kanwal, Absolutely right. I strongly support the public execution of terrorists. In the first instance, the perpetrators of this heinous crimes are not apprehended, if apprehended, they are not tried and if they are tried, they are not convicted (because of loose and soft prosecution) and if they are at all convicted, their sentnces are not executed.
and self-confessed killers here are being aquitted
Salute to the Iranian Judiciary, which has stood with its people and State and hanged the terrorists. Their respectable Judiciary has not submitted to terrorists for personal safety and fear nor have they shown any love for these criminals like some of our's still respectable Judges.
If we had the same tradition of hanging terorrists in public, instead of praising the "jihad" they are waging against humanity, we would have been in a much better state. Even after 40000 dead pakistanis, we do not seem to have learnt what to do to those who have no respect for human life.
Justice done and seen to have been done...................excellent.
