Varsity politics: SU teachers challenge syndicate

The petitioners have maintained that the VC is manipulating the syndicate.

HYDERABAD: The Sindh University’s teachers have challenged the composition of the university’s syndicate, consequently also questioning the legality of its decision, in the Sindh High Court Hyderabad Circuit Bench.

The bench of Justice Munib Akhtar issued notices to the Chancellor of Sindh’s public sector universities, vice chancellor Dr Nazir A Mughal and Registrar Nawaz Narejo to submit reply by November 8.

The petitioners have maintained that the VC is manipulating the syndicate.
