Cricket: Watson backs Haddin, Starc

Australia all-rounder Shane Watson believes Brad Haddin is prepared to be Australia’s wicket-keeper for the upcoming Test series against South Africa if he gets selected, according to ESPNcricinfo.

“He’s definitely mentally and technically ready to go if that opportunity does come for him in that first Test,” said Watson.

He also suggested his Sydney Sixers teammate Mitchell Starc would be a valuable addition in the bowling lineup.
