Squash: All Malaysian final at DG Rangers event

KARACHI: Malaysia’s Darren Chan Ti will face compatriot Al Nick Ally bin Abd Rahim in the 6th DG Rangers Sindh International Junior Open U17 final after both won their respective semi-finals at the Sindh Rangers Jahangir Khan Squash Complex at North Nazimabad.

Meanwhile, Rahim defeated PAF’s Ahsan Ayaz 11-6, 11-7, 11-9. Faizan Khan beat Ali Karamat of HITEC 11-5, 5-11, 9-11, 11-4 and 11-9, while Punjab’s Sumaid Rasheed stunned HITEC’s Mansoor Zaman with a 3-0 win in the U15 last-four matches.

In the U19 girls category, Saadia Gul of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa eased past Punjab’s Amna Latif 3-0 in just 21 minutes.
