Students from over 30 universities participated in the orientation session.

The SECP management training programme aimed to further structure the induction of the junior executive induction scheme of the SECP by introducing entry level positions of management trainees. The SECP will induct 30 management trainee positions through orientation programmes.

The chairman gave an overview of the organisation and informed the students about the regulatory framework of the SECP. He said that the regulator had set several procedures and modules to provide a competitive and secure environment for investors.

The orientation was an interactive session. Students made several queries regarding the working of the SECP, corporate and capital market of Pakistan.

This was the first orientation session for potential junior executives and similar sessions will be organised in various universities across Pakistan. Following the orientation, the SECP will invite students through press advertisements to appear in an entrance test that will be organised through the National Testing Service.
