Make-up
She looks fantastic with the glowing peach cheeks, glittery eye shadow and basic black eye liner with a beautiful plum colour across her lips. For the same look, try Luscious cosmetics Peach-Melba blush (Rs600), Mac’s Dazzlelight eye shadow (Rs1,200), Black Catwalk eyeliner by Luscious cosmetics (Rs675), and Mac’s Plumful (Rs1,700).
Hair
Aamina went for a loosely tied bun with a side parting sculpting her face — an easy quick style. If you’re trying to do what she did, make a side parting with your longer bangs framing your face and tie the rest of your hair in a simple loose bun. You could hold the bun up by pinning it with adorned pins available at Accessorize.
Accessories
Aamina wore a simple pair of dangling champagne coloured earrings. While she could have worn a bracelet to complement her elegant look, the simplicity worked for her too. Clasped in her hands was a bejewelled gold clutch which gave her look a Hollywood touch. For a similar clutch, keep your eyes open for the Swarovski clutches available at limited exhibitions, or grab a clutch from Nine West (about Rs6,000).
Outfit
Aamina wore a stunning two tone halter organza gown by Maheen Karim, accentuating her slender figure. In case you don’t want to splurge on this gorgeous Maheen Karim number, browse through the racks of high street brands Mantra (which is on sale!), Mango, and Debenhams for a similar style.
Shoes
Aamina wore a pair of golden heels to add some inches and also complement the colour of her dress. For similar ones, check out Nine West, Vincci or Charles and Keith. Prices range from (Rs4,000 to Rs10,000). Remember: no glitter and no drama — keep it elegant!
