‘Misplaced package’: Courier company sued

Petitioner says that the company, OCS, misplaced 60 cheques he had sent through the courier service.

LAHORE: A consumer court on Tuesday issued a notice to a courier company’s manager (operations) for November 29 in a suit seeking Rs1 million in damages. The petitioner says that the company, OCS, misplaced 60 cheques he had sent through the courier service. Petitioner Kalimuddin, Punjab Collage of Commerce principal, says he had contacted the respondent’s office but was not accommodated. Ijaz Bukhari, OCS Customer Services Officer, told The Express Tribune said “no one” had approached them to verify whether or not the OCS had delivered the parcel.
