KARACHI:

Pakistan’s top cueist Mohammad Asif and second-ranked Asjad Iqbal will depart on November 3 for the Dubai International Open.

Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) had approved the invitation to participate during an executive board meeting held recently so that the two players could receive competitive match practice under their belt before the IBSF World Championship to be held in Bulgaria. PBSA has also announced that Abdul Rashid Lehra will be the team official for the event in Dubai. The training camp will be held in Karachi from November 12 to 22 upon Asif and Iqbal’s return as the Pakistan team is scheduled to leave for Bulgaria on November 23.
